  • LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR E-Book

    This license agreement (the "Agreement") is made and entered into by and between Gregory Omar Osborne, the author and owner of the "Becoming You: A Household Name" book (the "Work"), and the individual or entity purchasing and downloading the Work (the "Licensee").

    • Grant of License. The author hereby grants to the Licensee a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Work in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

    • Permitted Uses. The Licensee may use the Work for personal, non-commercial purposes only. The Licensee may not distribute, display, sell, or commercially exploit the Work in any manner without the prior written consent of the author.

    • Restrictions. The Licensee shall not modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the Work without the prior written consent of the author. The Licensee shall not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Work. The Licensee shall not remove or alter any trademark, copyright, or other proprietary notices contained in the Work.

    • Ownership. The Work is protected by copyright law. The author retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Work, including all copyrights and other proprietary rights. This Agreement does not transfer any ownership rights in the Work to the Licensee.

    • Termination. The author may terminate this Agreement at any time if the Licensee breaches any of the terms and conditions of this Agreement. Upon termination, the Licensee shall immediately destroy all copies of the Work in its possession.

    • Disclaimer of Warranty. The Work is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The author makes no warranty that the Work will meet the Licensee's requirements or that the operation of the Work will be uninterrupted or error-free.

    • Limitation of Liability. In no event shall the author be liable for any damages, including but not limited to special, incidental, consequential, or indirect damages, arising out of the use or inability to use the Work, even if the author has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

    • Governing Law. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Jersey.

    • Entire Agreement. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the use of the Work and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous agreements, proposals, representations, understandings, and negotiations, whether written or oral, between the parties.

    By purchasing or using the Work, the Licensee agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
